The 19th annual festival will have something for every jazz enthusiast from August 5 to 7. The amazing line-up kicks off early with two Opening Performances at The Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts August 3 featuring Johnny Winter and August 4 with Alfie Zapacosta! Headliners for this years festival include Oliver Jones who learned tricks of the trade from fellow Montrealer Oscar Peterson to become one of the Jazz worlds great artists. A man who brought what amounted to a nearly alien sensibility to jazz electric guitar playing in the 1960s, Larry Coryell will satisfy the musical appetites of jazz lovers and music buffs alike. His son Julian, a jazz up and comer and will join Larry on stage. Other featured headliners include: Warren Hill, Hot Club of Detroit, Tny Monaco, Jill Barber, Joanne Shaw Taylor, Dr. Draw, Kellylee Evans, Susan Wylde, Steve Strongman, Sultans of String, Treasa Levasseur, Bill Durst and many more. A highlight of the festival will be a showcase of incredible young talent.
