CASKEY, Joseph David - At the Woodstock General Hospital, on Monday August 1st 2011. J. David Caskey of Woodstock in his 82nd year. Husband of Rose Ann Caskey (nee Reed). Beloved father of Linda A. (Rob) Flegg of Calgary AB., Susan D. (Doug) Macdonald of Canton Ohio, David T. (Margie) of St. Thomas, Mary I. (Xavier) Noordermeer of Windsor, and Barton A. of Woodstock. Dear grandfather of 15 and great grandfather of 11. Dear brother of Pauline Illingworth, Sara "Sadie" Keeping, Bessie (Frank) Blake, and George Caskey. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents William and Sarah (nee McAfee) Caskey, sister Mary Murray, brother John Caskey and brothers in-law Ken Illingworth and Alec Keeping. David was a longtime employee of Standard Tube and past executive member of the Midlanders Drum and Bugle Corps. The family will receive friends at the BROCK AND VISSER FUNERAL HOME (Formerly Longworth's) 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock 519-539-0004 on Wednesday, August 3rd 2011 from 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel Thursday at 2:00 pm. Interment at Hillview Cemetery.
