the Citizen of the Year program it Is being made part of the big Back to Acton Days celebrations Previously Citizen of the Year nominations were made in late February and early March the Chamber selection for the award revealed late in March and a dinnerdance honoring the recipient held in April Dave Whiting who is organizing the Citizen of the Year program said the affair will be held at the Acton Curling Club There will be a cocktail hour dinner presentations and dance Whiting predicted having the Citizen of the Year the same weekend but as a separate function as Back to Acton Days will
