Actons second annual sportsmen show Last year show was a Joint effort of Acton Chamber of Commerce and local service clubs The show a huge success was held in Prospect park Sunday September following a millionaires night and dance in the community centre May extend A letter from the Chamber read at Thursday nights parks and recreation meeting conveyed hopes of extending the show to a two or three day event this year A more varied program and greater financial rewards are also expected The Chamber plans to ask all service clubs to participate once again Rates for rental of parka facilities are to be determined whenever final dates and arrangements for the show are set Last year the committee received per cent of gate receipts plus for use of the community centre for the dance Praises show
