claremont mr and mrs angus ferguson were honored saturday evening at a surprise party in the claremont legion hall the oc casion was their silver wedding anniversary the party a complete surprise was planned by their family with more than 100 relatives and friends present mrs ferguson was presented with a lovely corsage of yellow roses by her children both then received a beautiful silver tray that contained return airline tickets for two to miami beach florida a highlight of the event was a mock wedding participants in the hilarious shenanigans were doris hopkins jo linton eileen and bill ball jack and jean bradshaw amy clark joe burrows and rene rennie mr ferguson sr also came in for congratulations on the occasion of his 75th birthday mr and mrs george mckenzie david norm and michael spent the weekend at the home of mr and mrs ray hill collingwood mr and mrs wilmot hill are on a camping holiday at alcona beach lake simcoe mrs earle wilson brenda and brian visited them july 5
