slouflville whitchurch and the former township of markham on a house assessed at 20000 located in whitchurch taxes will go up by 2130 over the 1971 rate the same house in the merged markham area will experience a jump of 1084 while a 20000 house in stouff- ville will pay an increase of exactly one dollar professional and commercial assessments are subject to a steeper rise but a moderate one on
