defence of his resolution continued on page 9 rejects metro waste pickering twp ward 2 councillor jean mcpherson wants no part of any agreement that could lead to the use of pickering twp lands as disposal sites for metro gar bage in the past she has voted against all resolutions and bylaws related to this issue and she held true to form at the year- end meeting dec 29 she was supported by outgoing coun cillor ron chatten ward 4 they vere opposed to a resolution that said the zoning bylaw which permitted two landfill sites for metros waste was in conformity with the townships official plan ward 1 councillor vic rudik denied that the question had any direct bearing with the metro agreement signed in 1968 at that time however there was no suggestion that garbage from metro would be
