gormley missionary church for mr ernest jfarvey following his passing at the willows nursing home aurora mr harvey eldest son of mr and mrs edward harvey was born and raised at j jormley in 1924 he was married to miss ervie hunt daughter of the late mr and mrs jim hunt they farmed on the property now owned by mr montford johnstone mr harvey was a lay pastor for many years and also served one pastorate at oundalk a number of years ago they moved to newmarket where the deceased was employed at the york county hospital he is survived by his wife one son bruce of pleasantville nova scotia and five grandchildren pall bearers were allan smith norman carrington lloyd harvey melvin baker allan sider and roy i brillinger interment was in heise hill cemetery mrs victor appleton mrs victor appleton passed away at east general hospital toronto on march 15 she had suffered a severe stroke feb 28 and never rallied the funeral friday af ternoon at heise hill church was conducted by bishop ej swalm of duntroon mrs appleton the former mary brillinger was born and raised in gormley on march 25 1929 she married victor appleton at the home of rev and mrs alvin winger they lived at gormley for a number of years then moved to a farm near collingwood they later resided in toronto her husband and two foster sons garwood of sherkston and jim of hamilton survive interment in heise hill
