Full Text: SCANNELL, William Edward "Bill" (WWII veteran, R.C.A.F., 1940-1946 & Finqancial Analyst for CNR Headquarters, Montreal, Retired in 1983) -- Peacefully on Saturday, October 16, 1999 at the Georgetown and District Memorial Hospital. Bill Scannell in his 80th year, beloved husband of Joan Legauit. Loving father of Richard (June) Douglas, Brian (Judy), Bruce (Vicky), Heather Thompson (Len) and William (Wilma). Cherished grandfather of Ruby Mae. Friends were received at the J.S. Jones and Son Funeral Home, Georgetown, Ontario on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral and commital service was held at St. George's Anglican Church, on Tuesday, October 19, at 11 o'clock. Cremation.
