The sudden passing of Fanny Louise Larsen last Thursday afternoon came as a great shock to the community. While she had been ill for about two weeks with meningitis, she had been progressing most favorably until a sudden cerebral complication Thursday caused her death. Dr. A.F. McIntyre says she did not have a communicable type of meningitis. She was born in Niagara Falls, N.Y., in April, 1925, and was in her 19th year. She had resided here for the last 14 years, and was a member of St. Andrew's Anglican Church. Besides her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Larsen, she is survived by her grandfather, Louis Larson; two sisters, Jean and Betty, and one brother, Louis, all of Grimsby. Funeral services which were largely attended were held at her late home on Saturday afternoon, with Rev. J. Allan Ballard officiating, assisted by Rev. George Taylor-Munro. Interment was in Queen's Lawn Cemetery. Casket bearers were Stanley Reilly, David Dick, Bruce Shafer, Ted. Konkle, Newell Smith and Raymond Senyk.
