The gala will be held at the Burlington Convention Centre at Burloak Drive and QEW. HRCCA is a non-profit commu- nity organization of volunteers dedicated to promoting cultural education, understanding and interaction between the Chinese community and the society at large. Patrons at the gala can look forward to a 10-course Chinese banquet dinner that will be catered by Summit Garden Chinese Cuisine and the evening activities have been enhanced to include a lion/dragon dance, a fashion show, live bands, and cul- tural performances. Added to the fun will also be a raffle draw, silent auction and karaoke. The gala reception will begin at 6 p.m. with the 10-course Chinese dinner and entertainment starting at 7 pm. Ticket prices for non HRCCA members are $100 or $1,000 for a table of 10 A portion of the ticket price, as well as proceeds from silent auc- tion, raffle draw and karaoke pledges will be donated to the Oakville Hospital Foundations $60 million new Oakville Hospital capital campaign to purchase life saving medical equipment.
