The jamboree will bene- fit the Halton Hills Chapter of the Spinal Cord Society. Tickets are $25, and available at the JET Box Office, 905-877-3700. The Milton Seniors Ladies Kitchen Band will make a special appearance. Jammers will include: Madge Atkinson, Bill Praught, Dianne and Rudy, Georgie Roach, All Anscomb, Bruce Laing, Sam Leach, Courtney McIsaac, Madie St. Amour, Francis Laraby, Wayne MacDonald, Carol Hawke, Whit Tuppling, Rod Salisbury, Jim Dunham, Cathy Nowac and Tom Neelands. If you have never been to a Country Jamboree, heres how it works you sign in (if you want to perform), and are allowed to do two numbers (country music). There will be a back up band available or you can play your own acoustic instrument. At the beginning of each show there is a Giant Jam. The back up band will play about four well known numbers and all the jammers will come out on stage and play and sing along. This gets rid of the butterflies and then the jammers start doing their two num- bers. Selected dancers will be on the stage dur- ing performances. This event is organized by Wayne MacDonald of the Spinal Cord Society and Jim Dunham of the No Name Band. For details call Jim Dunham, 905-873-0310.
