The draw marked the second straight game the Hornets have earned a point in the Provincial Womens Hockey League stand- ings, following a 5-4 overtime loss to the Southwest Wildcats the pre- vious weekend. Oakville is still searching for its first win of the season, however. The Hornets are now 0-5-1-1 on the campaign. Oakville will have three chances over the next few days to earn that elusive first victory. The Hornets visit the Aurora Panthers tonight (Wednesday), are home to the Whitby Wolves Friday (8:30 p.m. faceoff at Joshuas Creek Arenas) and then travel to Waterloo Monday for a clash with the Rangers. Griggs late goal lifts intermediate Hornets to tie Abbey Park High School's senior and junior girls' bas- ketball teams were both crowned champions at the recent St. Matthew's Coast to Coast Fall Classic in Ottawa.
