Wednesday, Oct. 6 Ward 3 All-can- didates Meeting, 6:30 p.m., St. Mildred's- Lightbourn School, 1080 Linbrook Dr. Wednesday, Oct. 6 Ward 1 All-candi- dates Meeting. Bronte Village Residents Association (BVRA) is hosting a meet the candidates night, 7 p.m., Walton Memorial Church, Lakeshore Road/Bronte Road. Visitors can submit written questions to the candidates 15 minutes before start of meeting. Thursday, Oct. 7 Ward 1 Town and Regional Candidate Bob Aceti is hosting a free public presentation from 7:30-9:30 p.m. on condo ownership for condo owners and prospective condo owners at CJs Caf 2416 Lakeshore Road West, in the Bronte Village, Oakville. Speakers include Rosario Marchese, MPP Trinity-Spadina and spon- sor of Bill 79, the Condo Owners Protection Act, Linda Pinnizotto, founder and president of the Condo Owners Association of Ontario, Todd Ross, spokesperson for the Canadian Alliance of Condo Owners Rights, and Richard Elia, a condo lawyer. Event is sponsored by Bob Acetis campaign as well as the office of Rosario Marchese. Tuesday, Oct. 12, All-candidates Meet and Greet/Mayoral Candidates Debate sponsored by Oakvillegreen Conservation Association, Galaxy 707 Hall, 475 North Service Rd. (east of Trafalgar), doors open 6:30 p.m. for candidate meet and greet; mayoral question and answer at 8 p.m.. Meet all the candidates for Town and Regional Council and for the school boards at one time at one place. Candidates will be grouped by ward to make it easy for citi- zens to talk to all the candidates in their area. Organizers will have ward maps avail- able to direct citizens to the appropriate candidates. Friday, Oct. 15 Ward 2 Meet the Candidates jointly hosted by the West Kerr Village Residents Association (WKVRA), West River Residents Association (WRRA), South Central Oakville Residents Association (SCORA), and West Harbour Residents Association (WHRA), Oakville Arena, Pine Room, 133 Rebecca St. All can- didates for mayor, Ward 2 regional/town councillor, and Ward 2 councillor have been invited. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the event runs from at 7 9 p.m. Each can- didate will be provided time to make a short presentation, followed by a Q & A.
