However, only Coronation Park East beach was found to have safe levels of bac- teria for swimming, and the towns other two beaches did not, by the Halton Region Health Department. The health department has been doing weekly tests to recreational waters in the region each week this summer until the end of August. The towns two other beaches, Coronation Park West and Bronte Park Beach were found with high levels of bacte- ria and deemed unsafe for swimming. However, all other regional beaches have been found safe for swimming.
