Nominations are open from Monday, Oct. 4 until Oct. 31. The awards gala will take place in March 2011. The awards are presented by the Rotary Club of Oakville West and the Oakville Chamber of Commerce. The gala is also a fundraiser for the local Rotary club, which provides academic schol- arships. The event raises about $40,000 each year for student scholarships.
