The event will run from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. It will include the quilt show, silent auction, crafts and pet-related attractions. Admission is $2 and all proceeds go to the fund. The Charlie Fund was formed in 1985 in response to the need for a fund specifically designated to emergency vet- erinary care for homeless ani- mals in care of the Oakville & Milton Humane Society. Named for a spirited border collie named Charlie who had an overwhelming leg injury which resulted in amputation and who was later adopted, The Charlie Fund has helped many animals who might not other- wise have gone on to live happy lives with forever families.
