- The Late Mrs. Robert Noble
In the death of Mrs. Robt. Noble of Norval, that vicinity lost one of its oldest and most highly esteemed residents. Deceased was the widow of the late Robt. Noble, who predeceased her about six years ago. In 1868 she and her late husband settled in Norval and established a flour mill, which has grown to be the flourishing manufactory there at the present time. Four children survive to mourn the loss of a devoted mother. Dr. Robt. Noble, Toronto; Col. Alex. Noble, Norval; Mrs. Rev. Lang and Miss Annie, at home. The funeral service last Tuesday was conducted by Rev. Mr. Ferguson, pastor of Norval Presbyterian Church, assisted by Rev. Mr. MacKay, of Milton, a former pastor. The floral tributes were numerous. A unique feature of the service was the bearing of the flowers to the Church and thence to the cemetery, by employees of the flour mill. - Featured Link
