- Sad Death at Stewarttown.
The death occurred last Wednesday, 7th inst., of Mr. J. M. Tracy Curry, at his home, lot 17, con. 6, Esquesing, under peculiarly distressing circumstances. A couple of weeks prior to his death Mr. Curry was unwell and his physician diagnosed the case as appendicitis. An operation was performed on Tuesday when it was discovered that not only was the appendix affected, but an abscess had formed elsewhere. He rallied after the operation but the next day sank gradually until midnight, when his spirit departed. Mr. Curry was a son of Capt. J. A. Curry, and was married to Miss Margaret Reid in December last. He was an exemplary young man and his untimely death is everywhere regretted. The stricken young widow and sorrowing parents have universal sympathy. The funeral to Stewattown Cemetery on Saturday was largely attended. - Media Type
