- Death of Vicar-General Keough.
The Dundas Star says: "There passed away at the House of Providence on Tuesday one of the best known and most revered priests in the province in the person of the Very Rev. John Keough. Father Keough was a well-educated and vigorous man, ever ready to help the needy and always active in church work. He was born in Guelph in 1840." Rev. Father Keough was well known to the members of St. Joseph's congregation, Acton, having quite frequently visited the church here on special occasions. - Media Type
