The Death of Mrs. Henry F. Hill.
The Vancouver, B.C. World, of the 17th inst., gives the following particulars of the decease of Mrs. Hill: "The news that Mrs. H. F. Hill, of 629 Barnard street, has passed away will be learned with most profound regret throughout the city. The deceased lady has been in the city about two years, and was the wife of the manager of Trueman & Co.'s photographic gallery. She was a sister of Mrs. W.A. Clark, of this city; Dr. Hacking, of New Westminster; F. Hacking of Vancouver; Dr. F. H. Hacking, of Chicago, and Mrs. W. A. Brady, Boston, Man. The funeral was held this afternoon from the family residence on Barnard Street, the Rev. Mr. McEwen, New Westminster, being the officiating minister. The deceased had a large circle of acquaintances in this city, and also in Winnipeg, Buffalo and Detroit, where she had previously lived." Mr. Hill is the youngest son of Mr. C. T. Hill, merchant here, and the late Mrs. Hill was the eldest daughter of the late Joseph H. Hacking, founder of the FREE PRESS. General sympathy is expressed here for Mr. Hill in his heavy bereavement.
