Death of an Esquesing Pioneer.
The death of Mr. David Cross occurred at his home in Stewarttown, on Wednesday night 28th ult., after a short illness. He was one of the old settlers and was highly esteemed by all who knew him. The funeral was very largely attended on Friday afternoon. A wife, son and daughter survive him. Mr. W. H. Cross, of Stewarttown and Mrs. John Sproat, of Manswood, are deeply sympathised with in their sad bereavement.- Featured Link
