Suddenly Called Home.
On Monday afternoon death came very suddenly to Miss Robinson, sister to Mrs. Morrison, of the corner of Mill and Frederick streets, with whom she resided. Miss Robinson has been an invalid for a number of years and rarely left her room. During the past week or so, however, she felt better than usual and had ventured out to call upon a few friends. On this occasion she was proceeding to the home of Mrs. James Sharp on Yonge street. On the way she was overcome with weakness and Mr. W. H. Denny, who was passing, took her arm to assist her. When opposite Mr. Denny's door her strength entirely gave way and she fell. Kind hands carried her in but in a few moments she breathed her last. For years she had suffered from a severe affection of the heart and her physician states that the sudden death was due to the culmination of this trouble. Since her mother's death, some twenty years ago, she has resided with Mrs. Morrison and came with her to Acton about three years ago. She was an affectionate sister and was highly esteemed by those who made her acquaintance here. She was a devoted christian, a member of the Methodist Church, and exemplified her religion by word and deed. Her sudden death is a great shock to her sister and family. They have general sympathy. The funeral service was conducted yesterday afternoon at 5 o'clock by Rev. William Bryers, and the remains were taken by the six o'clock train to Monteal to be deposited in the family plot in Mount Royal Cemetery.- Featured Link
