Lee, occupied the pulpit in the church on Sunday afternoon and preached an excellent sermon. Mr. T. S. Cooper of Markdale gave a splendid address in the Community Hall on Monday evening on the sub- ject of "Hydro" and also "The Hog Producers Association." Mr. and Mrs. H. I. Graham and Ruth, Mrs. W. G. Bowles and Miss May Graham attended the Sunday School Convention at Eugenia last Friday. (Intended for Last Week) Mrs. Dave McGee was hostess to the Women's Institute for their June meeting on Thursday afternoon of last week. A good report of the con- vention at Walter's Falls was given by the delegates. A paper was given by Mrs. F. R. Boland and other good program was provided. A good program of sound moving pictures was given in the community ball on Tuesday evening, June 19th. by the Fieldman for the Federation of Agriculture, under the auspices of the Farm Forum. The next show- will be on July 20th. Mr. T. S. Cooper, Agriculture Re- presentative will address a meeting in the community hall on Monday evening, July 2nd, under the auspic- es of the Farm Forum. The annual community basket pic- nic under the austpices of the Sunday School and Public School will be held in the Community Park on Friday afternoon <)f this week, June 29th. A\\ welcome. An interesting game of Softball was played on the Community Park here on Tuesday evening of Jast week, between Vandeleur and Rock- lyn and rsulted in a victory for the home team.
