Mrs. Walker of Toronto, and Miss Isabelle Rowe of Lome Park spent the holiday with Mr. and Mrs. Alex McKechnie. We arc pleased to note that Miss Perle McMaster has taken honoi's on all her second year's exams, in the G. & M. Hospital, Owen Sound. Mr. Robert Bellamy, an inspector for the Bar.k of Toronto was the guest of his parents, Mr and Mrs. W. J. Bellamy over the holiday. Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Griffin were holiday visitors with Mrs. Wm. The Flesherton Ladies Softball club has been re-organized, leaving only two teams in the competition. Is Taking Over Business Purchased a Year Ago Flesherton is gaining another res- ident this week Mr. Howard Mc- Auley, an old Flesherton boy, ia re- turning to town, and will assume charge of the planing and sash and door factory in town, which he pur- chased from W. 1. Henry & Son, j about a year ago Howard has been employed by the Bell Telephone Co. for a number of years and for the past seven years has been in charge of the rural lines in this district with headquarters in Dundalk. He re- cently resigned his position with the Bell Co. and will devote his full time in boosting his business here, which manufactures extensively for the building trade. We welcome Mir. and Mrs McCauley to town once again. Mr. and Mrs Wm. J. Wilson will be at hom« to their friends and ac- quaintances on the occasion of the sixtieth anniversary of their wedding on the afternoon, of Saturday, June 5th, at the old homestead, Booth- ville.
