This famous j herbal remedy speedily stimulated her I sluggish liver regulated the digest- ! ive process of her stomach and re- i stored them to their normal func- 1 tions. "No medicine I have ever taken gave such quick relief as Dreco," j says Mrs. Armstrong. '"I had been j troubled by gas on the stomach after I meals, causing heartburn and nauesa so bad that I felt very dizzy and ! spots would float- before my eyes. GROUP TIED FLESHERTON WINS Owen Sound's Confidence Shaken When They Lose On Monday 6-4 Owen Sound's hopes of winning this group of the North Wellington League without a struggle on Flesh- erton's part were shattered on Mon- day afternoon of this week. They were so sure 'of victory, as they have won the last two gamgs, that they had the next team which they would play all picked out and ready. It was a hard jolt for the northerners when Dow commenced the run scor- ing in the sixth when he hit a home run into right field. The group is now tied as Fleshcrton has won two games, having won the first in Owen Sound 9 to 5. The Flesherton team has opened the eyes of the Owen Sound fans to the idea that there are better ball players in the country than they can boast of. It is no run- away for them and it is up to Flesh- erton to put them awajk in the next panic which will be played in Flesh- erton next Monday. Owen Sound commenced the scor- ing in the fourth when McDonald and McGreavy counted. They also got another in the sixth when Mc- Greavy was sent home by Keeling on a single. Up to the sixth Flesh- erton had six men left on bases but was unable to make a counter, when they came to life with a vengeance and Dow hit his home run. Gold- smith followed with a two bagger, Airth sacrificed, Goldsmith going to third; who in turn scored on Me- L<-od's two-base hit to left fit-Id, E. Ellis fanned. Hilliard relieved Garbutt hero, and E. Muir singled scoring McLeod, Howard singled and Mountain struck out with two men on. Four runs -and two hits. Owen Sound failed to count in the seventh and eighth, but counted one more in the ninth on a block ball. In the seventh two more runswere added for Flsherton when Dow connected for two bases and Goldsmith hit to right field, scoring Dow, and he counted when Vasey threw wild to the plate. In the ninth R. Kllis Hied to Boyce in right field, who made one of the nicest catches we have seen for some time, he running 'a mile" Flesherton failed to score in the eighth when K. Muir -.'jlkcd and Howard singled to short, who started a double nlay to second with Muir and caught Howard at first. Fleshorton's chances of winning I this group is very bright, as they j sat right on Garbutt's offerings anil I he is supposed to be their best. It took two games to find him, but the boys got right after him. Garbut if a nice pitcher all the same. \Vi- believe that "Lefty" Goldsmith lias them all beaten in the pitching line in this part and has speed to | burn, and fooled Owen Sound to the i tune of eight strike-outs. Dun- dulk is no more the unbeatable team as it has been for the Flesherton team the past two years. It was the first defeat for Dundalk on the part of Flesherton in a League game during the past two years, but Flesh- erton came out on top in a tourn- ament played here two years ago Thursday's game was by no means perfect, as the errors mounted up on both sides. 'Fleshcr- ton hit Douglass hard in the 1st in- ning, seven runs coming off his dc liveries, and in the second Dundalk came back with the same and addet three more in the third, when Arm strong stole home and H. Blaekwel hit a homerun into left field, scoring Claridge. Flesherton came to life in the seventh, with Armstrong pitch ing and counted four, adding one in tlip eighth and tied the score in the ninth, 15 ( all. The old game kept o travelling until the eleventh inning when two Flc-sherton men were aasy outs by way of first, E. Muir walkec and Howard secured a hit. Montain won his own game by hitting a double scoring Muir and the gamo was won I This game is tho first in the secom ' secton of the Centre Grejv League and gives Fleshcrton the advantage in the race.
