- Chicago, Feb. 5. - An explosion, believed caused by a bomb, roared through three west-side stores early today spreading flames that did $50,000 damage and rounding out a week of crime and terrorism that had witnessed six gang murders and two shootings that may prove fatal to the victims. Two murders were added to the roll in the last 20 hours and in the space of ten hours there were 40 hold-ups.
