The funeral of Mrs. Rosina Schofield, wife of Thomas Schofield, was held today from the Stonehouse Funeral Home, with Rev. J.A. Ballard conducting the service, interment being made in Queen's Lawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Schofield, who was in her 72nd year, has been a resident of Grimsby for the past 58 years, having been born in London, England, and coming to Canada over 60 years ago. She is survived by her husband, three daughters, Mrs. Eva Brooks and Mrs. Wm. Layton, both of Grimsby, and Mrs. D. Dunham, Seattle, Washington. A son, Fred, resides in New York City.
The pallbearers were Frank Hitchman, Wm. Robinson, Cecil Farrow, James Gowland, Edgar Farewell and Wm. Schwab.
