OBITUARY - This neighborhood has been again visited by the grim messenger, death; his victim this time being Miss Emily Boland, who died as stated in last week's STANDARD, on Monday, the 23rd ult. Her funeral sermon was preached by the Rev. Mr. McDowell in the Wesley church on Sabbath, March 1st. We will ever miss her from our midst, especially in the Sabbath School, where she was a faithful and beloved teacher; but our loss is her gain. The Good Shepherd seeth not as man seeth, and we know that it was for a wise purpose that he called her home to His fold so early in life, and therefore we are called to bow in submission to His will, and hope to meet her in on the other shore where parting will be no more.
