She's an active and contributing member participating in clubs and leadership roles such as Concert Band, the Environment Club, Student Advisors, Kindergarten Lunchroom Monitoring, Design and Technology, Library Helper and Student Ambassador. This year Heesoo initiated a schoolwide cell phone recycling program to help the environment. · Lucy Pennyfather, Linbrook. Grade 5: A highly motivated and organized individual who consistently strives to accomplish her very best, Lucy's strong work ethic is a leading factor in her high academic achieve- ment and success in athletic pursuits. Lucy's involvement in all aspects of school life and her willingness to always help others, further highlight her qualities as a leader and caring citizen. Meagan Miller, Maple Grove, Grade 5: With her academic achievement, positive attitude and effort and participation in numerous athletic activities throughout the school. Meagan is a genuinely kind and caring student. She has positive words for everybody and helps as a lunch monitor and referee. Sydney Leslie, Munn's, Grade 8: Munn's Public School is pleased to announce Sydney Leslie as the 2009-2010 Student of Excellence. Sydney was selected because she has demonstrated outstanding qualities in her academic work and athleticism.
