Art exhibit shows Bronte People have a chance to see Bronte through the eyes of an artist at an art exhibit at Sovereign House, hosted by Art on the Bluffs. It is the first exhibit of this season's iteration of Bronte through Artists' Eyes. The exhibit opened last week and goes on until June 2. "We start each season with a group show celebrating Bronte as artistic inspiration," said Art on the Bluffs chair Lyn Estall, in a new release. "This year's first show will have a mixture of pieces in all media from at least half a dozen local artists." Most of the art works are available for sale. Art on the Bluffs is a fundraising effort for the Bronte Historical Society. It features the mixture of art and history on a lakeside setting. Sovereign House, 7 West River St. in Bronte Village, is operated by the historical society as a heritage display centre. Gallery hours are Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday 1-4 p.m. For more information visit www.brontehistoricalsociety.ca. 33 · Friday, May 28, 2010 OAKVILLE BEAVER · www.oakvillebeaver.com It's here!
