U14 girls win soccer title in Oshawa The Oakville Soccer Club's under-14 girls' B team defeated the Ajax Cobras 1-0 in overtime Sunday to win the championship at last weekend's Frank Sobil Classic Soccer Tournament in Oshawa. Oakville went 2-0-1 in its preliminaryround games Saturday to reach the semifinals, where it blanked the Dixie Angels 2-0. Members of the team are Jessee Abrahams, Isabella Borea, Janelle Caetano, Jennifer DiMarco, Brittany Grist, Sara Habal, Alex Hayes, Emma Henry, Sarah Kozma, Jamie Hicks, Olivia Holmes, Taylor Ann Ioannou, Kaitlyn Simpson, Claudia Menecola, Amanda Walsh and Arielle Zamdvaiz.
