Oakville lost 7-5 to the Ottawa 67's in the semifinal of the competition in Vaughan, eliminating the Rangers from contention for the Telus Cup national midget tournament. The Rangers managed to rebound in the bronze-medal game, edging the Sault Ste. Marie North Stars 6-5. Members of the Oakville squad are Phil Hampton, Liam Board, Jasper Brand, Marc Bessey, Nick Szabo, Patrick Feric, Braedan Russell, Drake Wilton, Matt Rubinoff, Cooper Rush, Elliot Cheeseman, Justin Mattiussi, Brett Lee, Travis Fulton, Ryan Adams, Nick Kashty, Daniel Poliziani, Adrian Skakie, Adam Ravenhill and Marcus Nepinak.
