Hundred or so' next weekend. The second annual fundraiser event will take place Sunday, March 28 at Rattlesnake Point Golf Club, with proceeds going to the CWF's `Women Moving Women' campaign to change the face of poverty in Canada. Those who attend will enjoy an afternoon tea, fashion show by Studio 49 and one of two workshops: either `What Every Woman Should Know About Her Body' or `Think or Sink -- Master Your Mind to Master Your Circumstances.' Registration for the day is at 11 a.m., and the event will run from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Through the Women Moving Women campaign, the foundation is enlisting 2,500 women to donate $2,500 over five years to help move 2,500 women out of poverty. Habitat for Humanity AGM March 24 Habitat for Humanity Halton's annual general meeting is on Wednesday, March 24. It will take place in the auditorium of Oakville Public Library Central Branch located at 120 Navy St. At 6:30 p.m., there will be a meet and greet followed by the meeting from 7-8:30 p.m. Memberships will be available at the door. Those attending are asked to RSVP by March 19. The meeting will also include a motion to adopt amendments to Habitat Halton's bylaws.
