He was born in Collingwood, Ontario. Chuck retired from Blue Circle, as a cement driver in 2002. He was the son of the late Charles and Sarah (Grant) Bennett. He is survived by his wife, Gayle Morrison, Sluice Point; a son, Kent, Toronto, Ont.; a daughter, Christine (Will) Maria, Mississauga, Ont.; grandsons, Joshua and Lucas Maria; brothers, Phil (June) Bennett, Oakville, Ont., Jim (Carol) Bennett, Burlington, O n t . ; s i s t e r- i n - l a w, V e r a B e n n e t t , Dundas, Ont. He was ver y fond and caring of his many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Mae Shields; a brother, Grant Bennett. Chuck was an avid g a r d e n e r, f i s h e r m a n a n d a l l a r o u n d outdoorman. He was a fine storyteller, with a great sense of humour, often at his own expense. As a young man, he loved to box and play hockey. Most of all, Chuck loved Gayle, and his dogs, and will be greatly missed by everyone whose life he touched. Cremation has taken place under the direction of H. M. Huskilson's Funeral Homes Ltd., and there will be no visitation by request. A private memoriam will be held at a later date.
