Statutory public meeting notice Zoning By-law Amendment March 29, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. Town Hall, 1225 Trafalgar Road, Council Chambers Bronte Village growth area Bronte Village Commercial Parking Implementation File: 42.10.24 Members of the public are invited to attend and provide input at a public meeting hosted by the Planning and Development Council. The purpose of this proposal is to revise the parking requirements of the Zoning By-law for non-residential uses in the C3R zone of Bronte Village. This proposal implements recommendations based on: 1. Results of the town's Commercial Parking Study, 2006, and 2. Council approved resolutions from July 11, 2006. The effect of this proposal will be to establish a more consistent approach to regulating on-site parking in Bronte Village by eliminating specific parking standards for individual uses in favour of a lower, generalized parking rate for all commercial uses. The subject lands are indicated on the key map provided as the "area of interest" located in Bronte Village. These lands are also subject to OMB file PL090104 (Z.1730.34) official plan and Zoning By-law Amendment for 140, 144, 150, 154 and 158 Bronte Road. If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting, or make written submissions to the Town of Oakville before the by-law is passed: a) the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision of the Town of Oakville Council to the Ontario Municipal Board; and Dated at the Town of Oakville this 10th day of March, 2010.
