Newcomers, service providers, businesses and government are all invited to help make Halton more welcoming by participating in a forum on Wednesday, March 10 (snow date is March 31) to be hosted in Oakville by the Halton Multicultural Council. The forum will take place from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at St. Volodymyr Cultural Centre (SVCC), 1280 Dundas St. W. Using a process called Open Space, an agenda will be set and morning discussions will take place on action strategies. Lunch will feature a panel of community speakers. During the afternoon, an action plan will be developed.
