Oakville, which owns a 24-1-1 record in South Central Triple A play this year and has outscored its league opponents 12024, will compete in the prestigious tournament in February. "The boys are off to a great start and that is 100 per cent due to all the hard work they have put in since making the team in April," said Rangers head coach Duncan Harvey. "The Quebec tournament is a huge honour to be invited to. The best peewee teams in the world will be there and the boys know that they will have to work really hard in their preparation as they represent the MOHA and the town of Oakville." Members of the team include Michael Bullion, Scott Smith, Andrew Burns, Mark Bzowey, Oliver Chau, Cameron Mackenzie, Mitchell Prentice, Matt Spencer, Jesse Barwell, Cole Buchan, Andrew Dumaresque, Ashur Elliot, Rocky Iannaci, Sean Kohler, Josh Kosack, Misha Song and Sam Vasilaros-Wilson. with Flyers' farm team Playing in Adirondack seems to agree with Stefan Legein. The 21-year-old Holy Trinity grad's offensive production has gone up dramatically since he was traded from the Syracuse Crunch to the Adirondack Phantoms. In 22 games with the Philadelphia Flyers' American Hockey League affiliate, Stefan Legein Legein has scored 12 goals and added two assists. He had two goals and an assist in six games with the Crunch before being traded early in the season, and scored once in 26 games for Syracuse last year. "I feel like this is some of the most fun I've ever had playing hockey, even though I've only been here for about two months," Legein told the Flyers' website. Legein, who won gold with Team Canada at the world junior hockey championships two years ago, drew national headlines when he retired from hockey prior to the 2008-09 season. He returned to the game a few months later. "One thing I want everyone to know is that I never lost my passion for this game," Legein told the Flyers' site. "This is what I do, and I love every minute of it." Adirondack is currently 13-13-2 and sits sixth in the AHL's East Division, four points ahead of Syracuse. And regardless of who is in net, Nobili says they have to limit their opponents' opportunities. "It's been one of the goals all season, to minimize the scoring chances and limit the quality shots against. It's not an exact science but you try to help out your goalie as much as you can and play defensively sound hockey." That's worked so far for the Blades, who have the thirdbest goals against average (2.60) in the league -- no matter who is in net. NOTES: Mark McGowan had a hat trick in the 8-0 win over Bramalea, and with a goal in each of the other weekend games has now scored in six straight contests... McGowan, Mark Bennett and Kyle Lysaght each had a goal and two assists against Villanova... Three of Zak Ray's seven goals have been game winners, the latest in Saturday's 2-0 victory over Vaughan... Morissette made 27 saves against Bramalea and 20 in the Vaughan game. He has four shutouts, two more than any other goalie in the league.
