www.oakvillebeaver.com · OAKVILLE BEAVER Wednesday, December 9, 2009 · 18 Adrian Vogt to cater Salvation Army's annual Fellowship Dinner This is the eighth year Oakville resident Adrian Vogt and his wife Susanne will exchange Christmas gifts -- over the Salvation Army of Oakville's annual Fellowship Dinner. Actually, it's the dinner that the Vogts exchange as their gift to one another. They don't eat it, but give it to others. Adrian owns and operates Trident Catering and this marks the eighth year the company, the man and his family and staff have provided, cooked and served Christmas dinner to those in need. The Salvation Army of Oakville's annual Fellowship Dinner has been a tradition since 2001. The dinner is put on by the Salvation Army, hosted by St. Paul's United Church and catered by Trident Catering. "This year, Adrian wishes to continue what he started in 2008 and invite local politicians to not only be guests, but to assist in serving the meal and connecting with clients," said Aisha Chaney, community services co-ordinator for the Oakville Salvation Army. The event will serve about 230 people on Monday, Dec. 21 at 6 p.m. at St. Paul's located at 454 Rebecca St. Tickets to the dinner will be distributed through the Salvation Army's Food Bank, Toy Depot, Lighthouse Shelter and Family Shelter program.
