It's against Halton Region's policy to give out details such as the victim's name, residence or when exactly he died. However, Nosal confirmed the man had underlying medical conditions. A man in his 80s living in a long-term care home and a woman in her 70s died earlier this month after being hospitalized with the virus. Both also had underlying medical conditions.
