OAKVILLE BEAVER Friday, November 6, 2009 · 16 FOR THE UNITED WAY: Elliot Monkman takes a ride down a slide at the end of a bouncy obstacle course at a Fun Fair held at Fern Hill School. The event, Winning Together for the United Way, featured pony rides, an obstacle course, face painting, barbecue and more. It was a new event this year at the local private school, which is a big contributor to the United Way of Oakville's annual campaign. The campaign continues through early December.
