Oakville's Source for PreOwned Vehicles and Aftermarket Services Gone are the days of trying to schedule car maintenance around your personal and work schedule. It can now be as easy as picking up the phone to schedule a time that works best for you. "I will drive to them, whether they are at home, work, it doesn't really matter, anywhere's there's space," Gary Wragg a Certified Automotive Engineer (C.A.E), says of his new mobile car repair business. The British master technician has brought his concept of mobile car repair from England to right here in Oakville. Although this is a new concept for Canadians, the idea of home auto service is anything but new to those in England. "When I first started my business I had 50 clients, and within a year I had 250," Gary says of his business he ran on his own for eight years in England. autoWORLD After moving to Oakville more than four years ago, Gary has worked with different automotive companies, giving him experience working on cars in Canada. It wasn't until recently that he decided to pick up where he left off in England and start his own mobile car repair business. With over 25 years experience as a mechanic, Gary is fully qualified and knowledgeable about all makes and models, however he says European cars is his specialty. "I offer a variety of servicing packages for both small and large maintenance," he says. In addition to maintenance, Gary also offers troubleshooting assistance and other larger issues. Gary's motto has always been `done right the first time.' "It may take a little longer, but I always get the job done properly the first time around," he says. Gary's asssurance that the job will be done properly is not his only benefit, "Because of my low over heads, I am able to charge a lot less for my services. I change less than half the hourly rate of regular garages." For the time being Gary is trying to keep his business to the Oakville area, willing to drive anywhere up to 20 kilometres to meet a customer.
