OAKVILLE BEAVER Friday, October 16, 2009 · 24 Munn's annual Fall Bonanza all set to go this Saturday After nearly a century, Munn's United Church Bazaar is changing, but not giving up the ghost. With a history of volunteerism dating back to 1844, Munn's has a bazaar that attracts crowds and raises money for community outreach programs. This year, the Munn's event is a Fall Bonanza and organizers promise shoppers can indeed expect a windfall. Regulars will find familiar favourites like Munn's famous meat pies and home-baked goods, specialty jellies and mixes, hand-crafted wooden products, knitwear and more. There will also be changes as a small selection of unique outside vendors. While there won't be gift baskets, shoppers will find a table selling hooded sweatshirts and beanies they can donate to support Sexual Assault and Violence Intervention Services (SAVIS). There will also be a raffle. Doors open at 10 a.m. Munn's United Church is located at 5 Dundas St. E. (northeast corner of Dundas and Sixth Line). For information or to order raffle tickets in advance, e-mail office@munnsunited.com or call 905257-8434.
