Vendors of solar hot water and photovoltaic (PV) equipment will be displaying and explaining their products throughout the afternoon. Project team members, including a financial advisor, will answer questions. Home energy auditors, hydro representatives, and local environmental groups will also have displays. A series of one-hour workshops is also being offered throughout the afternoon including: · 1 p.m. -- Solar Information, Understanding What You're Buying · 2 p.m. -- Energy Conservation and Home Energy Audits. · 3 p.m. -- Homes gone solar The Halton Residential Solar Project (HRSP) is a project of the Halton Environmental Network (HEN). HEN is an umbrella group for environmental non-profit groups in Halton Region. HEN has been holding Solar Fairs semi-annually.
