Alex. and William Smyth, two brothers living in the neighborhood of Singhampton, disputed respecting the division of some property while at dinner on the 11th inst., when Alex. seized a butcher knife, and cut William's hand in a most brutal manner, and then taking advantage of William's disabled condition, took six heads of horses and left for parts unknow.--[Creemore Tiser.
