Artemesia Agricultural Society.

The annual meeting of Artemesia Agricultural Society was held in the Town Hall, Flesherton, on the 14th inst. There was a good attendance of the members and others. The auditors' report showed the society to be in a good position financially, the total receipts for the year $292.64, disbursements $212.53, leaving a balance to the credit of the society $80.11. The following were officers for the year 1886:--President, R. Oliver. Vice-President, D. McLean. _Directors._ G. Stewart, J. Brodie, J. Stewart, A. Stewart, D. Harrow, T. Conkey, D. McMillen, A. Currie. Auditors, J. Gordon and J. Bates. At a meeting of the directors same day, James Brodie was re-elected Sec. Treas. It was also decided to hold the fall show on the 5th of October.
