Munn's celebrates heritage École Munn's, a French immersion public school serving north Oakville will be holding a Commemoration Celebration and Silent Auction on Saturday, May 23. The school will be transformed with a walk down Memory Lane as it celebrates the 200th anniversary of the founding of the first school in the area by Daniel Munn, a settler after whom this community school has been named. École Munn's originally opened its doors in 1954 as Munn's Public School and has been revitalized as a French immersion education centre. The school is trying to track down alumni, memorabilia, old photos, spirit wear and information about Munn's school from the community.
