Cash Store robbed Halton police are looking for two suspects following the armed robbery of an Oakville payday loan store on Thursday. Police said the robbery took place shortly before 7:30 p.m. when two men walked into The Cash Store located at 496 Kerr St. One man pulled out a handgun and ordered the lone female employee to follow his directions. This robber emptied the cash drawers and the store safe, while the second robber sat in a chair during the entire robbery. The two men fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was harmed during the robbery. The first suspect is described as black, 6-foot, with a slim build. He wore gloves and a grey jacket with black sleeves. This suspect covered his face with the jacket hood and white-rimmed glasses. The second suspect is described as black, 5-foot-8, 20-22 years of age with a slim build. He wore a black jacket, blue jeans and gloves. His jacket covered his face. The gun involved was described as a black semiautomatic handgun. Halton Regional Police Service is continuing to investigate this incident.
