Gord was a true gentleman who never hesitated to help friends, neighbours and strangers alike. He unselfishly gave of his time and expertise whenever needed. He loved his summers at the cottage on Lake Huron and his winters in Por t Charlotte, Florida. Gord possessed a dry, quick-witted sense of humor that endeared him to everyone who knew him. Gord took pride in his many accomplishments and was a perfectionist in all that he did. He was a "backyard mechanic" and avid car enthusiast (Fords only please!), He was especially interested in classic cars and still owned his original 1955 Thunderbird. His greatest pleasure was derived from his family who loved him dearly and will miss him terribly. A service to celebrate Gord's life will be held on Monday, March 9th, 2009 at 2 p.m. at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Rd.
