Sultan Prospects' annual Battle for Breast Cancer tournament is scheduled to begin tonight (Friday) and conclude Sunday, with games being played at Sheridan and four Mississauga locations. Sultan Prospects head coach and president Fergy Neves said his organization hopes to raise at least $5,000 for breast cancer research through this year's tournament. The bulk of that money would be raised tomorrow (Saturday) as a celebrity exhibition game between the CFL's Toronto Argonauts and Hamilton Tiger-Cats highlights the weekend. That contest will begin at 8 p.m. at Sheridan. Tickets cost $10 and qualify ticketholders for raffle prizes being drawn throughout the evening. A Tiger-Cats list of participants had yet to be confirmed as of yesterday (Thursday), but Argonauts players expected to attend include Andre Durie, Jerome Davis, Obed Cetoute, Jason Shivers, Keith Stokes and Chuck Winters. Argos co-owner David Cynamon is also expected to attend the game, and Neves hopes to convince Cynamon to play. Players will be available to sign autographs following the game. A member of the Toronto Raptors has also attended the celebrity game each of the past four years, with Joey Graham coming to the last two. As of yesterday, Neves was uncertain whether any Raptors players would be in attendance tomorrow. "They don't play, but they sit down there and look good," Neves said of the Raptors players.
